Disable Microsoft Recall (Windows)

This article shows how to check the status of Microsoft Recall in Windows and how to deactivate or activate it if necessary.

Prerequisite

Open Terminal as Administrator:

• Search for cmd.exe in Start Menu
• Click on Run as Administrator

Microsoft Recall

Check Status

Dism /Online /Get-Featureinfo /Featurename:Recall 

Disable

Dism /Online /Disable-Feature /Featurename:Recall 

Enable

Dism /Online /Enable-Feature /Featurename:Recall
